Member Registration & Opinion Poll Registration

The Website is open to visitors and registration is not necessary. Registration however is free and allows you to access features not available to visitors, including participation in discussion forums and using the resources of the Virtual Library. Only members are authorized to post messages, contribute to discussions or view other members' submissions.

The first time you wish to visit the Membeship Area, we ask you to register. By checking the Acknowledgement box, you certify that the information you provide in the Registration Form is accurate and that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by the Terms and conditions of the Membership Agreement. If you do not want to be included in our database, do not register.

We appreciate our members' privacy. We do not sell or otherwise disclose any personal data to other organizations or private persons. Personal data and text contribution of our members will be used only for statistical / research purposes, as well as to post information here that may be helpful for other members. We will never share your information, including your e-mail address, without your explicit permission. Please consult our Privacy Policy for more details.

Participants of opinion polls are also required to register. You can register just for the purpose of a survey or, if you wish to, you can register for membership to the Canadian Immigrant Resource Network. In this case, please select a membership type - other than Survey only - that best describes your intended role as member. Information submitted in opinion polls is not available for fellow members, will never be published and will only be used in an aggregate form for statistical / research purposes.

The User ID must be maximum 10 characters long and must not contain special characters other than the following:
! ^ * ( ) [ ] { } - _ | ~
We recommend to keep passwords 6-8 characters long (maximum 15), containing a combination of letters, numbers and the same special characters as for User ID-s.
